Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I have been fixated by watches since I received my first watch back in about 1980. The fascination never left me.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A white dial manual wind little girl’s watch called Cannon on a black strap. I have never seen the brand since.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don’t buy a watch thinking it will fill a space in your collection. Firstly, only buy what you love to wear. Secondly, there will always be a new space to fill.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Grand Seiko, Tag, Seiko.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Grand Seiko Blue Snowflake. It’s beautiful.
