Gooday Crunchers! Today's watch is SLAVA Televisor 2427 aka. "The Tank", a 1970s relic from the soviet era. This watch is one of the first 1,000 made between 1976-78. These timepieces were primarily exported to Poland, the former GDR, and Czechoslovakia. Newer watches with colored dials, including export models, were introduced in 1983-84. There is much more I could tell you about this watch and how it came to resemble a FAVRE LEUBA!? Maybe I do an article on this timepiece.. In the meantime, have an excellent Tuesday!✌️
