A while ago I managed to catch the crystal of my 1965 Seiko 5 Sportsmatic on a door and the crystal popped right out!
I had thought it was too small a crystal, but when I finally got round to taking the bezel off there was a small acrylic ring left inside - seems it cracked right at the base right around (you can see the crystal and the ring at the bottom of the photo!).
Seems I need to order a new crystal, but not a gasket as I assume this just deforms into place. Oh, and I need to put the hands back in that also came loose in the impact.
Any advice would be welcome!
