I‘d go for „why not both?“. The Hamilton‘s dial just seems a bit too busy for me and the Alpinist, altought it‘s one of my facorites, the Peospex logo destroys the dial.
Explorer 1 because it‘s the perfect 1 and done watch. Change the bracelet for a strap or a nato and off you go to every occassion.
Hahah same here! Never would have even thought about golden watches, skipped them straight away but this one just caught me.
Owning 3 colorful dials and noticed, that I started gravitating more often towards them, because they‘re just more fun to wear. The „classic“/duller ones are still #1 for formal occassions, because they just work. And that‘s just about the point. Formal VS daily fun.
