when I was a kid I saw my grandfather’s watch, an old gold dress watch, he bought while going on a cruise to France. I was fascinated by that thing and asked my parent to give me a watch for my 9th bday. Couple month later I got to the watch store with my father and saw the Casio calculator watch. That’s how love affair started
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Digital Casio, f-91 style
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Take it really really slow. Like snail slow. it means don’t buy everything you like on a whim, don’t follow the impulse to get a “cheap” watch just because it’s cheap for you and you want a watch. Take it slow, build the bonds between you and your watches.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
I’ve been looking at vintage Omega, Tudor, Grand Seiko and Orient.
But I also like Oris, Longines and Seiko.
of course I absolutely love Rolex, specially vintage Datejusts, but I have no dough to afford one
