Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
My dad is also a Watch Collector and show me his watches when I was a Kid. I found it kinda interesting and started to inform me over the Internet. Now I am really deep into watches.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
My first watch as a Kid was a S.Oliver Football Watch. My first watch as a Teenager was a Skagen Hagen. And my first mechanical watch was a Nomos Glashütte Ludwig 38, which I got for finishing my Highschool and for my 18th Birthday (was on the Same day ^^)
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Yes! My Guinand Starfighter Pilot II GMT is a special Edition which guinand builded only for me. There is only one piece in this configuration on the hole planet and i own it ;) It has a special individual dial and a GMT bezel. I buy it for finishing my Study and love it since i got it.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy Watches you like, but think about it, before you do it. Its better to have 2-3 good quality watches then 15 mid quality watches. Every watch can be special, so wear your watches everyday and don't see it as an Investment.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
German Brands Arena quite interesting. Guinand is a special watch-manufacture from Frankfurt Germany. They are small but produce on a high quality Standard! Get a view on it!
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
A watch who show my personality to people and which I can wear over the next 50 Years.
