New Straps Alert from Crown & Buckle
Got these from the mail today since I ordered from Crown & Buckle on X-mas eve. My second purchase from them (The first being the Chevron - Titanium Knit).
Chevron - Autumn + Syrah (Green & red stripe, $25.60)
Chevron Noble - Bleu Argent (Blue with silver stripe, $49.00)
Superb hardware and strap quality (check out the weaving) with noticeable premium on the Chevron Noble. But on the wrist, they both feel the same.
With just one minor nitpick, the length of these straps are kinda short for me. Can't move the strap all the way up to the second keeper while worn. Should have been longer even for their 20mm Chevrons (My 20mm Titanium Knit barely slips into the second keeper).
I wished they also provide an all titanium option for the hardware. Yeah, I got these straps to kinda match with colours of the fabric straps from both the MN and the USN variants of the FXD.
Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. I would still recommend them. The nylon is optimally flexible (Not too soft), the strap holes are nicely done and the tail end is nicely stiched. Not too expensive for the quality. #crownandbuckle
