I’ve legitimately taken my 126710 Rolex GMT Master (Pepsi) into the ocean for swims while traveling - I just make sure to rinse it clean afterwards.
I also gently clean my watches with a smidge of dish soap, water, and a microfiber cloth too - or if I’m lazy, into the shower it goes, though I try not to let it get too steamy, and certainly not on vintage pieces

I so sincerely appreciate how unashamedly proud of your grail watch you are, seriously! It’s a beautiful piece so keep making memories with it by your side and enjoy :)
Gold is “in” from a fashion sense, and often is - it’s especially wearable on leather too!
I have a 1803 as well, but often wear it on a strap and buckle combo. If you haven’t already, make sure to buy the gold spring bars from your local Rolex dealer (have them order it), you don’t want to wear out those lugs or widen the holes! They can order a buckle too!
Your watch looks really great! Do be wary of using steel springbars (unsure what is on yours) against a gold case like that, as the difference in hardness can cause some problems longer term :)
