Grandfather’s watch

Recently, my uncle gifted me this watch. He told me that my grandfather would have liked it me to have it, and for me this was very special because I was very close to my grandfather. The watch no longer works, but I really would like to getting working again. However, I don’t feel comfortable leaving the watch with just any watchmaker, especially because I don’t have a trusted one in Mexico. What advice could you give me ?

Cool watch & lovely that it was your Granddad's.

Good luck getting it fixed 😍👍🏻👍🏻

I have heard nothing but good things about Tim at OmegaAddict. He does restorations. It will not be inexpensive. He is in greater Mexico, or as it is known now, Arizona.

Thank you for recommending OmegaAddict! I have been looking for a vintage Omega expert to service my grandfather’s Omega from the 1940s.

The best way to get a watch! I would try Omega, either the AD in Mexico or through their global website.
