Maybe not forever 😏 but I've plenty reason to take pause, not in the least because some watches I'm thinking about are in the next price bracket over or two. Besides that, I like the collection enough to give it a rest.
A white dial field watch does sound nice. I have a few in mind, but it'll be a while before I collect any more watches.
It definitely seems so 😂 Every time I spy someone sporting a vintage watch, I start thinking I need another one.
I still haven't totally warmed up to collecting vintage, but on the newer side of things I've definitely been tempted to pick up the DTU-2A/P. It'd fit right between the Khaki and the VWI Hack.
Of the three, I'm kinda digging the Halios Universa. The geometric numerals and blocky indices are growing on me, and I like skinny pencil handsets.
I'll buy a brand if it had something to do with a story I care for and is within my means (thankfully that was the case for my collection), but I'll also consider watches that do the same without support of some brand.
I happen to be a bit of an aviation fanatic and the watches featured on the CarringtonSmith website are definitely of interest to me, but I'm afraid they're beyond my pay grade.
