Happy birthday! I'm also turning 40 this year and was thinking about getting one myself - probably the 58 for me but I still need to try them in person.
I'm definitely interested in these, although being a limited edition they'll probably be long gone by the time I'd be ready to buy one.
It's probably more like the upper middle class man's Rolex. There's nothing poor about a $4k watch. But personally I feel like Rolex is just a flashy status symbol and Tudor watches have a lot more character.
I've been wondering about this too. Thinking about getting one in blue as a 40th birthday present to myself, but luckily that's not until November so I have plenty of time to wait and see.
