I got the same watch. Mine is no. 109/600. Seeing the warm glow of the hands and indices in the low light is a mesmerising experience. It is like wearing a mini Christmas tree!
And I didn't mean it's lume. The lume is great, but this watch only needs lume in total darkness. The way the golden hands and indices catch the light and shin back at you is like nothing else I have ever seen. Photos and videos don't do it justice.

Absolutely agree. The hands and indices shine in low light conditions in a way that is so pleasing! They take what little light is in the room and amplifies it 10X! I love it!
The dial is full of surprises too. While it isn't as fancy as those dials from a Grand Seiko, it sure more than first meets the eyes. When I first got it, I thought it was black or dark brown with a mild silver sunburst, but sometimes under different lighting, I see a very deep muddy green with a bit of gold. I often have to double-check. This watch is crazy beautiful!
Do you see the green and gold on the dial too? Sometimes I think my eyes are just playing tricks on me!

I know exactly what you're talking about. At certain angles, the dial looks like a deep black, but in certain lighting, it looks like a sunburst brown for me. It's really odd!
Great Macro shot. Really illustrates the level of finishing that can only be from the Hand finished studios of grand Seiko. Kind of makes the massed produced black bays, seamasters, and Subs look like second tier watches.
