Always had a few different watches growing up. Went through the Swatch craze in the 80s as a kid, lots of seikos and casio gshocks in the 90s, serious collecting started in 2000s

Grandfathers 1920s hamilton pocket watch is the watch that opened up the world of horology for me.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Easy to buy cheap watches to satisfy an itch. Spend your money wisely and have patience in collecting
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Always Hamilton, Seiko and Omega but really looking at IWC and Sinn lately.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
New - IWC Aquatimer Chrono, Vintage - late 60s Omega Seamaster 300. Quality craftsmanship and heritage. Huge fan of dive watches since my young days watching Sea Hunt, Flipper, Undersea World of Cousteau... dove a lot in my younger days in the Navy and afterwards.
