Has anyone had good experience with the a watchmaker in the Washington DC/Baltimore area? Especially one who works on vintage stuff? I have my grandfather’s watch and it’s due for a service, I think. Nothing overly complicated, a 1960s Elgin with an ETA movement inside. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

I'd recommend 24 Hr Watch & Clock Repairs (1485 Chain Bridge Rd, Suite 102, McLean, VA 22101) if it's not out of your way. Perhaps call first to confirm that it's a good fit: 703-300-5048.
