7 months and still in honeymoon phase (ORIS BCPD)
I’ve had this since early May 2023 and I have not gotten bored of it yet. This hasn’t happened to me with any of my other watches. One strap change and it feels completely brand new again.
If you are interested, this strap is from Tuns Leather on Etsy, really impressive strap. Does anyone have other suggestions for great watch straps? I am aware of Artem sailcloth straps and Delugs, but not much else other than smaller vendors like Condor and other Etsy shops.

Given how pretty this I would not get bored of it either! If you cant find what you like why not ask a leather worker of someone to make you a cool strap using custom materials or buckles?
Very nice 👌 mine's away get repaired at the moment, so I'm a bit lost! I do need a new strap though because mine disintegrated.

The BCPD is IMO the best Oris out there. Love the dial and colorways. Enjoy and wear in good health on a hopefully long honeymoon period - you got an awesome watch there!
The right watch will keep you interested long after the initial honeymoon phase. That means you picked the right watch! I actually just ordered a strap from Tuns but haven't received it yet. I've ordered numerous straps from Harpy Leather on Etsy and love them for the price.

Sure thing! He runs sales quite a bit as well. Looks like right now it's buy 2 straps and get 20% off. Last month he was doing 20% off a single strap. Just keep an eye on the sales because they do change somewhat regularly. I'm a bit of a leather junkie myself. Am happy to make recommendations to anyone here!

What happened to yours that it needed sent out for repair?
Date pointer isn't always clicking all the way across to the next date. It's fine if you're winding the time on manually, but under its own power it doesn't always tick over properly. Bit strange but is what it is, under warranty so hopefully it will be ok
