Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Walked into a boutique when I was way to young to afford anything. Looked at a Breitling Navitimer and was floored by how much it cost. Totally unattainable at the time. And so I needed to know why and that led to my infatuation with the hobby.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Nautica Chrono, was everything to me…until I lost it😔
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Citizen Navihawk titanium…watch has been in actual combat with me. It saved my life and was my daily wear for most of my time in the Marine Corp. Most emotionally valuable watch I own. Has been running, without fail, for over 20 yrs. Eco drive for the win!
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Take your time and sleep on every purchase. You’ll find your impulse control will increase and you’ll buy more watches you’ll actually wear.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Christopher Ward and Glashutte(Kind of obsessed at this point)
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Rolex Day date in yellow gold and a champagne dail. Classic and iconic. Will be the watch I wear to the grave.
