Just last week I walked into the Bulgari boutique on Fifth Avenue to look at adding a strap for my bulgari octo roma, the new release. I was completely invisible and so I left. No one came to offer me assistance or even to ask me if they could help me, never mind a sparkling water. On the other hand, I went into a Blancpain boutique and the gentleman there was engaging, helpful and loved talking watches with me. Go figure.
