Blue Rubber strap for mi CW The Twelve

I just bought a blue rubber strap for mi CW The Twelve, the one I posted a while ago: The Twelve by the Tenth

¿Do you like it? I still like the bracelet more than the strap. I don't know when I'll use the strap but, you know...

It looks great, but the bracelet is top and shinny!

·

I'm really eyeing one of these!

The strap or the watch?

The watch. I wanted a blue dial with a steel bracelet and I have 3 watches in mind. And this is one of em

It’s an amazing watch and very well finished. For its price it’s really really stunning

·

I bet it is and it has way more personality than a prx

·

Love it on the bracelet, but this is a killer summer look. If the aesthetics didn't overlap so much with my Zenith Defy Classic, these photos would make me buy this!

·

Looking great!

·

Honest opinion - I looked to buy one a few weeks ago and configured in on the rubber rather than the bracelet - you've got the best look there, I love it!

·

Unfortunately, and as with 99% of rubber straps out there, they are designed for 10 inch wrists and ridiculously long. You could almost make a full loop with this overhang. It looks sloppy and ruins the look for me.

The majority of the world has a 6"-7.5" wrist. Stop making 200-225mm straps, start making 175-190mm straps instead. 😮‍💨

The bracelet is very comfortable. At least on my wrist. If been able to size it as I like😚

When I was deciding which twelve I wanted I was sure about the size, 36mm, but I was between the blues. Yours looks amazing too!!!😍

Thankyou

I got the same one as you, its getting delivered this Monday. Were you able to remove the screws from the bracelet easily? Was it hard to remove?

Some of them were tight as hell. But once you’re able to turn them it’s easy. But there were tight. I left sone scratches in one of the links, the first screw, I wasn’t ready fir that tightness 😅

Enjoy the watch. That blue dial is really amazing in real life. And it changes with the light. Sometimes is reasonable mesmerising… you’ll see.

Received my watch yesterday and its got some scratches in between the links... Does your bracelet have that? Here are pictures: https://imgur.com/a/cw-twelve-bracelet-scratches-issues-n5vb9k8

Mine have none. However, looking at the images, the scratch indicated by the first arrow is not a scratch, is the serial number of the bracelet. If you unlink the bracelet from the watch, you'll see it. The second scratch, the one that appears also in the other photos. It looks like dust, but if it's an scratch, my watch doesn't have it. If you are worried, it's a new watch! I would like to think that if you contact with Christopher Ward they'll do whatever necessary to help you.

You know whats funny? This is my 3rd Twelve from them... The first one had a deep scratch on the case and bezel. 2nd one had scratches all over the bracelet. This 3rd one even though its not perfect, its close... I'm debating if I should gamble and try to get another replacement, this is frustrating. My previous two Twelves did not have that serial number on the bracelet, I asked others that have this watch and they don't have it on theirs. Does yours have it? The second scratch is definitely a scratch, not dust. So you don't have any scratches in between your links?

I just double checked and mine has no scratches and has the serial number on the bracelet link.

I would like to think you have a lot of bad luck. But three in a row is not a good thing for a brand client experience. I feel sorry because I like this brand (mostly because my experience with it).

Its a beautiful and lovely watch on the wrist! If the watch wasn't as impressive, I would of given up a long time ago... I'm not the only one that has been going through this. If you go on the Christopher Ward subreddit, you see people complaining about receiving scratched watches, QC issues, etc all the time. Christopher Ward is a great brand, they make great watches. But I think they are growing so fast and cannot keep up with orders. As a result QC takes a hit... I'm torn, not sure what to do. I emailed CW customer service to see if they can just send me another replacement ASAP then I will just ship mine back when I get the new one. Its annoying and exhausting shipping watches back and forth, waiting for them to process then shipping a new one to you.

Since this is my 3rd watch with them, I don't think I am being too unreasonable right? I'm thinking of emailing the CEO about this because this is just frustrating...

I don’t think it’s unreasonable, but I don’t think they’re gonna agree. If they have a procedure for changing a watch for warranty, they always follow it. Thats what makes this procedure secure and reliable. maybe I’m wrong, I know nothing, just guessing.

But the email to the CEO is a great idea.

Its s great watch, amazing dial and finishing. But the best watch can be ruined by a bad client experience. I’m sorry.

I would like to think that Reddit thread is a minority. All brands have issues. And if you sell thousands and thousands, a 1-2% of issues is s large number of people complaining. And people only write there went they are annoyed and angered (with a good reason to be).

I really hope they fix your problem fast, si you are able to enjoy the watch as you should.
