I’m a pastor in Canada and my first expensive watch was a CW I just bought at Christmas time. It never occurred to me that it looked like a pitchfork. I associated it with the sea etc… not a problem for me and even those I’ve shown it to in my congregation haven’t had that thought. Again, in Canada so a difference in culture and religious tradition can play a part.
Christopher Ward C63 Sealander. It is my everyday watch that I have three straps for. A bracelet, a leather, and a canvas. The straps really give it a different feel. I wear it with everything from a suit to sweats. Love it!
I just purchased a C63 Sealander in hunter green for my first higher end watch. I am loving it so far and feel that the value for money is great. While I don’t have a lot of experience in watch finishing etc, I feel that the quality is great! This is really my one watch collection right now and is a great GADA watch. I have a few bands for it which allows me to wear it for any situation. And as everyone has already said, you can’t really beat the value for the money.
We got all of our kids their first watches this year. They are young so we got them cheap watches. I’ve just gotten into watches so I bought myself one as well. My wife is making me wait to open it till Christmas though.lol
