As far as I know, Omega has no canvas strap which fits. And I like my straps to be from the same brand like the watch.
TBH I am more thinking about a rubber strap…but I had not figured out whether the one of the Seamster PO fits or not (it is also 21 mm)…
For me Mido and Hamilton. My first mechanical watch was a Mido Ocean Star 200 in Titanium. What a great design, applied indices, 200 meter water resistance, a real good bracelet with a great extension system. 80 hrs power reserve! So good. I also like the mechanical field watches of Hamilton. Indestructible and great design.
I started my collection with a watch from Mido (a Diver in full Titanium). I think Hamilton and Mido both are offering a very good value for your money. You get COSC watches from Mido below the 2k EUR range. They are brands from the swatch group, so in my opinion they are a good basis to start with.
