Any love here for hybrid smart watches?

My old Garmin vivostyle move is a good compromise between a traditional watch and smart capabilities like step counter, heart rate monitor, viewing messages, making payments, etc

It's quite beaten since I used it a lot in my gym sessions but it can still pull off as a 'normal' watch. The display underneath lights up when you flip your wrist or when you swipe the watch face and the hands move away to unblock the view of the data being displayed. The hands also interact with the data, as for example they will move on the graph to show your daily step count.

I've changed the original strap several times (that got so smelly after using it in the gym) and I finally found a nice matching color bracelet.

Show me your own "watch in disguise" that's a traditional watch but a bit more.. I know Casio makes connected watches too.

I’ve looked at these with interest. I don’t feel very strongly either way, but the step counter would be nice at times. These are the best explanatory photos I’ve seen!

Thanks. I find the NFC payment and step counter to be the best feature of the watch. Reading a notification highlight without lifting your phone is also a useful feature.

My first watch was a Tag Connected E4, which I still have but wear very little since I've become obsessed with analog watches. That being said I put a lot of time into my choice, looking at everything out there (except Apple, not a fan) and for me the Tag was the one that most resembled and felt like an analog watch, Garmin MARQ Adventurer was a close second. But, the Tag doesn't even come close to the functionality that the Garmin has, but that was not my main priority. I was looking for look and feel over functionality.
