SACM150 a little Grand Seiko at Seiko prices
Just picked up this amazing little JDM Seiko Dolce off eBay for just a little over $300 CAD. I think this piece is well representative of the value Seiko used to offer. For that money youre getting a thermally regulated quartz movement accurate to +/- 10 seconds a year. It is also worth noting this movement was used in some older generation GS watches.
The linen dial work and the indices are done to a high level and it wears amazing on small wrists being just 33.5mm in diameter and around 6mm thick. The only drawback is the awkward 17mm lugs but I've got my eye on an old school flexo stretch metal band to really nail the vintage aesthetic of this piece.
