Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Always had a watch but was a one watch guy, then Covid ruined my life and I had nothing to do but watch Jody and buy Casios.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I dont know, my Uncle bought I back from abroard, I broke it and it was put away by my parents and lost, I suppose a Tag F1 was my first serious watch purchase.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
I had a Seiko Kahnjar and I have a coupla of vintage pieces that I find interesting as well as a nuclear combat gieger counter watch but. I bought a Seiko 5 while my Rolex was being (not) repaired and went scuba diving with it, my first 5 "fun" dive before I came back and did my qualifications, was with a Seiko 5 with a push pull crown, what did I know? It looked like a dive watch🤣Also it was of course fine and I still haveit.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy some Casios and Seikos, Often vintage versions of watches you like will be cheaper and cooler.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Always Moser but lately decent marketing from Tag, Tudor and Omega, im very vintage tho, I think Longines is crushing it , that Hi beat diver is a peach. But I like Horage, Helm and Unimatic atm
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I have like 5, the Nautalis,5711 now a "grail" because its a silly price: The Moser Streamliner Chrono, Laurent Ferrier Hidden Sport Tourbillon Lim Ed, the Artisans de Geneve Daytona Montoya amd a no mercedes 6204/5 Sub as a daily beater, thanks!
