How well does it taper?

I am thinking about purchasing this for a 34-36mm vintage eagle 7. Does anyone know how well do mesh bracelets taper?

Kinda depends on the bracelet. I have a few with no taper at all and some that taper down about 2-4mm

Never seen one tapered down. 22mm 20mm 18, Etc...

This. There is no taper on this and many mesh bands due to how they are woven. I am positive some with taper exist, just not this one and probably not many inexpensive ones.
