I’ve always liked watches from my first good watch, an Omega Moonwatch I bought in the Army in 1979 to my first Rolex a Submariner in 1995. I collected vintage drums for years as I’ve played since grammar school, but I took my Omega out started wearing it regular after a number of years and got the “bug” again.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
My Timex my grandmother gifted me when I was in junior high
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Not really, sorry
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
if you have a grail watch save for it!! Going crazy with the credit cards to buy a new Rolex may come back to bite you in the long run.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Omega
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I’d guess a Rolex Daytona steel. I’m not a real fancy person and a nice Daytona would scratch the itch for me.
