A trip down memory lane: my first watch

My father bought this watch for himself while studying in NY 30-something years ago. When I turned 14, this became my first watch. The scratches and s...

The red "Seamaster" text and tip of the seconds hand on the SMP is one of my favorites. I usually like the oranges and yellows very much (think Rolex Explorer II, Aquaterra white dial and orange seconds hand, BB Pro).

Thanks! Appreciate it.

I've never been a fan either, but I'm quite liking this one.

It's so cool to see another one! You know, the funny thing is that my dad has very thick bones too, and this watch looked tiny on him. I never understood why he likes small watches so much (Cartier Tank, Omega Constellation, Rolex Explorer 36, etc.). To each their own, I guess! Thanks for sharing 😉

Congrats, man! Great way to mark an achievement.

How accurate does it run for you? I have the Royal 41 un blue, and it's running at +8 to +12 seconds per day. Just wondering if this is normal or if I should get it looked at.

I was wearing my Royal today and remembered this short conversation! Did you finally pull the trigger on it? I'm curious to know how it turned out for you 😉

It's the summer blue for me. It's like the OG, but with a twist (plus, I never really liked the red accents on the original). I think it looks killer the sun.
