The classic 5600 G-Shock reimagined, the DW-H5600

Just recently picked this newly released Casio DW-H5600 this Friday and I gotta say, what a watch!

If you're out of the loop, this is essentially a 5600 G-Shock with an upgraded module that essentially turned this into a health/fitness tracker. With an added bonus of the new Casio Memory-In-Pixel display, this watch is a noticeable step up compare to the bluetooth solar 5600.

It also has built in heart rate and blood oxygen monitor and can receive your smartphone notification and sends it to the watch face.

My thoughts after wearing it continuously for two days is that it's a brilliant watch, in my opinion the best G-Shock release of this year by a wide margin.

I've never been a huge advocate for G-Shock, but I do have a particular fond of the 5600 model.

Although I have to say that even though this is the 5600 case, it's slightly bigger than the traditional 5600 case. Bulkier and wider to exact.

Nevertheless, I really really like mine. It's probably not that worth it if you after a hardcore fitness tracker, Garmin has plenty of those that can do more at around the same price. But I'm sure a Garmin can't quite withstand the amount of impacts that G-Shock can easily breezes through.

Whats the difference between DWH 5600 DWH 5600 EX1 & DWH 5600 MB1? Just the pricetag, or are there more significant features ?

Metal (parts) or special editions always have their pricetag at Casio.
