Beautiful old diver that I want restored

I have this old Webster “diving” watch from my grandpa. It has an EB 8810 movement that I have a feeling has a broken pivot on it’s balance wheel. The movement seems like it could run with a good cleaning and oiling otherwise. I think the bezel is stuck. Maybe someday… not sure if it has radium.

I just realized the T Swiss made T means it is tritium.

Have you a tool to open the back? Be interesting for yourself to know if the assumption of a broken pivot is true.

I have no clue, but its a beauty!

Go local. Use Google Maps or your choice of search and look for "watch repair near me" or your ZIP code or something. If this provides too many jewelers that only know how to change batteries and size bracelets, just look for clock repair as the overlap is large. Most serious places should provide an on-the-spot estimate based on a quick visual internal inspection. Ask questions. If they just toss out a price or say they'll look at it, you may want to keep looking elsewhere.

Yeah it is a snap back. The balance wheel seems to bounce around so I think the dial side pivot snapped. It has no shock mount. If I hold it dial up or angled to the side it will begin to moving.
