Simpler times..
Thinking back to simpler times tonight. Back when I was searching for the next best fashion watch because that's what was "cool" or "impressive".
I can't be mad at it as this is the watch that really kicked me into the world of exploring watches and enjoying them for what they are. This then further developed to a deeper love and appreciation for them.
I do think this Armani was beautiful. The way the blue dial used to come to life in the sun was spectacular. It was a good companion for late summer evening golf.
Thinking back, if I still had it, I'd probably still wear it, but, I'd wish it was a Casio probably just because deep inside I'd know it would ultimately be better in every way.
Simpler times leave good memories nonetheless.

Back in the good ol' days of 2014 when I was a new parent and was less jaded 🤣. Also, that's when I stopped golfing regularly as I couldn't commit 5 hours on a weekend to a round.
