Personally the thickness is not a problem at all as its a sport watch with a GMT complication and 200M WR so to me the thickness is normal for such a watch in my opinion , my advice is to try it out for your self and see how you feel about it.
I went for the smooth bezel and jubilee braclet, in my opinion it makes the watch less dressy and more versatile specially if you want to put the watch in a different strap in the future , with that being said the fluted bezel is definitely unique to rolex and iconic.
The tarnishing is minimal it turns a bit yellowish which ilove it makes it kind of like A Lange honey gold, just inside the lugs it turns a bit black, and i have tried using the Polishing cloth it cleans it as brand new
I own the BB58 925 , the dial is hand down the best in the bb58 collection ,the only problem i have personally is that i like to wear my watches on braclet , initially that was not the case but my taste have changed and not having a braclet for the bb58 925 makes me wear it less with that being said its a very special watch.
