Finally got a 19mm strap for the "impulse mod", meaning the NH34 build with is clearly based on GS-inspired parts. While not very original, I do like the simple dial free of any text.
It looks very similar and I dig that. I didn't even know they sold this dial as a mod part. I'd consider this big time
Yes, the hands that came with the GMT set are not a direct match, but you could easily substitute those. Neither is second hand, because the one that came with it fell off, not to be found, after working well initially. 😉 This one is just a spare one I had stashed away. For costing less than $100, it's actually a decent looking watch.
But if you look closely, you can easily tell where this watch, starting with the dial, differs from the GS.
