These are so good and such good value that I am tempted by the bronze.
Have you had it long and what’s the rate of “patination” like?
The only bronze watch I have had oxidized real fast and ended up looking very different to the watch I chose.
This guy is about a year old. Definitely not shiny, but don’t get bronze if you want shiny. Looking at this, I wish I’d taken a close-up every month or two to document the progress.
Thank you for the insight/context. Yours looks good for a year old. I would be happy with that look.
The time lapse is a good idea.
The one I have “patinated” real fast (not a Glycine).
Yours has obviously dulled but not nearly as extreme as mine did after just a couple of months.
Not sure how often you wear yours but wearing it regularly probably helps in “polishing” off some of the oxidation.
I’m guessing there are also different finishes and coatings and these will patinate differently. Mine is raw and fairly roughly brushed - probably the worst or best for patination depending on your perspective.

There are ways of removing the patina, and then you could try again. https://youtu.be/Uufuud73PnY
Also, I really like your collection. That Citizen Promaster Tough has been on my wishlist for ages.
Looking good.
