Wow, very strong opinion for both options. I have a fluted bezel datejust with a Jubilee, looks awesome. For the GMT for some reason I feel the oyster looks better

An update, I have visited the AP, was offered a day to decide. I was also informed that the price in my local market was now revised for the new stock they just received, about 4% more than what I was quoted from a week ago. I compared the steel and gold versions, the gold definitely stands out. At the end though, I decided to pass. Secretly in my heart also said a pass to the hopes of ever getting an RO at retail. Thank you all for the kind words and advise, appreciate it.
