"Look closer; look closer still"

Probably shouldn't be quoting TW E01. But there's something pleasing with a dial that looks plain from a distance, but intricate up close!

I really appreciate the fine details that only become apparent when closely examining a watch - it's what separates an "average" watch from the truly exceptional.  A well executed guilloche dial can make a huge difference

I support your feels for this watch. The pattern on the watch looks great close up. It’s nice to be able to admire details at different levels of examination

Well said. It adds a deeper level of appreciation that’s hidden in plain sight or more precisely, in bad lit conditions.
Just like most contemporary GS and Moser models with their wonderful textured/patterned dialwork.

Kinda like a well kept secret, reserved for the wearer.

I could not agree any more. And so it should be with every watch you own, in my opinion. #cartier magic!

It’s the small details that can really separate one piece from another. Lovely watch - one that even Mr. J. C. Mayer would approve 😂

Mr. J. C. Mayer has been spotted with a couple of Patek Philippe Gondolo and Calatravas throughout the years 😎
