My 28 year old Carrera is more accurate than my AT coaxial was. Both are/were extremely accurate though. My AT gained 3 seconds a day, and my Carrera is at +1 second/day. Coaxial is great for many reasons, but it's not really any more accurate than many other high end movements.

Blimey, mine runs just a few seconds a week, assumed they're all that good ( was serviced last May) 🤯

That is really, really nice! It is common for these newer coaxial to be within a few seconds a week. Any nicer movement that’s been properly regulated should be able to within Omegas 0 to +5 sec/day with proper regulation. I have numerous watches that are within that spec that are just running off the factory regulation.

Most collectors seem to overlook them for some reason? I would also look into their now defunct sister brand Daniel Jean Richard watches as well. Don’t own any GP or DJR but heard the earlier models are worth buying. Good Luck.

Tag F1/ Monaco before the others
Chopard is a grogeous choice!
A
I voted for the Chopard but I don’t know what your budget is? What about these?
That’s a good suggestion… never thought about GP
Oris used to make a whole line of Williams F1 team watches that were pretty cool…
Why not a Carrera or Monaco? Those two are very commonly associated with F1.
Monaco .. just bulky .. not that I don’t like it .. it looks great on camera .. but I’m a small man ..
Obviously the most accurate, the Omega!
The silver dial is dazzling …
