British Watchmakers Day was amazing!

Just back from British Watchmakers day. What a wonderful event.

Watch makers, content creators and collectors all in one place. Atmosphere was amazingly friendly: everyone revelling in this awesome passion of ours.

I was fortunate enough to see some amazing watch brands I’d not seen in person before: Duckworth, Geckota and Pinion really stood out. Oh, and Roger Smith…what can I say but simply stunning.

The most popular stands were, unsurprisingly, Fears, Christopher Ward and Farer, each surrounded by a mob of eager enthusiasts. And Richard from StudioUnderd0g was there, adorning a chefs hat: very apt.

The groupie in me was also excited to meet some of the best content creators out there: Adrian (Bark and Jack), Tom (Bowl of Salmon), Andrew (Morgan), Andrew (“Time and Tide” McUtchen), Richard (“Watchgecko” Brown), Rikki (Scottish Watches), and Britt (Pearce). All of them were lovely to meet and (briefly) talk to. Only bittersweet realisation is that each of them is unreasonably attractive: any dream I had of starting a YouTube channel is officially dead.

An amazing day. Although I didn’t buy a watch, I’ve added some new objects of desire to my (already long) wishlist.

Look forward to hearing everyone else’s experience of the event.

Both @FeebleWrists and I were there too, an amazing event, seeing so many fantastic watch and clock brands. Stand out for me were Beaucroft, Clemence, and MJW. With all the YouTubers and watchmakers there too... It was like a being part of a film awards event for watch nerds.

It was so awesome to be there!

Cool photos and post. Those Sinclair Harding clocks have to be seen in person to feel the full effect of their beauty

Thanks for sharing! I have to make a point to attend this next time.

Looks fantastic and seen some videos on YouTube, was in two sessions ticket only? Hope it is on again next year as would love to attend

Seems like pound for pound this part of the world (the UK) pushes out more watch related video product content, more Youtube reviewers it seems, and now shows than any other part of the world. It's the size of the state of Oregon in the USA and the UK has the same population density of one of the USA's smallest states in CT. Yet we only have events like the Nodus' Intersect as the one that even comes close to a regular gathering for watch enthusiats in the USA. Congrats UK on a killer weekend- love the photos. Obviously jealous... the USA needs more like larger weekend watcg geek out like this. Congrats UK on your energy around watches and our hobby.

Yes, two sessions, morning or afternoon. Genuinely worth the effort to make it.
