I have always felt that Panerai watches are interesting but a little bit over priced, the summer before Covid-19 my wife conned me into flying to Paris with her for 4 days to pick up a designer bag that is not available for sale here in Toronto. In fact the boutique located on Rue St Honore will not allow more customers in unless there is a sales agent available to assist which means a short queue standing in the hot June afternoon, I was miserable. As a peace offering my wife offered to buy me a new watch to memorialize the fast trip. Oddly it was a ceramic Panerai submersible that caught her eye, I could not justify the high high price and refused the gesture. Upon our return to Toronto, I decided to buy a first Panerai from my usual multi brand ad seeking the assistance of my usual guy who instead introduced me to a young lady who wore a 44mm Panerai was the store’s Pam expert, she was patient and knowledgeable. Last Christmas, I wanted to shop for a next Panerai, my usual sales guy introduced me to the new store director, a young woman sporting a Panerai watch hired away from the Toronto area Panerai boutique to boost the store’s Panerai sales. I sense a connection between Panerai watches and confident women.
I’m praying everyday to have a all wildcard level 5 piece collection 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
