Imho Orient is a very dressy and elegant watch. Tissot is too sporty for that. Bulova gives some very vintage vibes, nice but I don't love that exact model, I've seen ""dressier"" watches by Bulova recently. Love the last one. Orient or Lip Churchill, the first is a bit more versatile I guess.
Depends, usually with a comfortable thin and light watch if I'm at home, lumed watch while away. Timex with indiglo is a perfect all round never to get off the wrist (expect for swimming, not really a fan of wet nato straps). Casios also.
Vintage watches are a great choice for this topic, especially quartz ones (which will definitely come cheaper). My experience came with an inherited Tissot Seastar Quartz which doesn't hold much value or prestige except being very comfortable on the wrist (and got more compliments than more prestigious watches, which left me kinda disappointed)
