NWA! Chronofixe Flight 1952. Got it used off eBay for what I think was a very good price. It’s barely been worn. French heritage brand. Very comfortable bracelet. Sort of a “long grain” beads of rice look. Myota movement, sapphire on both sides. I’m digging it! I got my flight fix 🫡.

The rub on this one was that it was a Watch Gang partner.

Thank you for flagging this particular watch.

I have been looking more closely and it seems to be a close homage of the O&W.

I know what you mean about the Watchgang thing but on the plus side it means it was put together with a solid movement (serviceable/replaceable), has sapphire and decent WR and there’s quite a few Watchgang subscribers who’ve received them but clearly don’t want them - so good for us.

I think the RRP of US$850 is a bit “Invicta” but - at the right price - this is a really nice pick up.

I have bid on a few of the O&W originals but they are either in terrible condition or go for far too much (for what wasn’t a great quality movement) so I will keep an eye out for these too.

It certainly looks like scratching the Seiko Flightmaster itch too but with the benefits of automatic, sapphire and a decent bracelet.

Enjoy!

There was a YouTuber who basically said he thought the company had enough quality in the watches that he felt they didn’t need the watch gang partnership. Marketing is tough though so I can’t blame them for looking for distribution in new ways. FYI I got this for $125.

You definitely got a great bargain there! I will look out the YouTube vid.
