And should be here in a bit. Met with Scott Wilk. Wilk is a microbrand. Scott makes all of his watches. Doesn't make the movements. Uses ETA or Chinese movements. I have a slightly customized "classic skeleton" on the way.

Classic looking watch, enjoy
Were you able to have full control over the watch or did he give you options for the case, dial, hands etc
Very nice!
Enjoy that bad boy!
Cheers!

We discussed my desires. I was in need of a classic dress watch. He gives options and that would include complete design. I liked the look of the classic skeleton "in person". Fits well with my look. So, choice of calibre to go with my aesthetic (I went with the Chinese instead of the Swiss, matching look of screws, hands, dial). Choose two straps. a double folding for "everyday dress" (a bit of an oxymoron) and a classic black for funerals/weddings. Visiting with Scott was fun, informative, and gives a sense of the watch. This does completely blow out my "under $500" collection -- but there is a sense of time/place and look.
