Watch-ing TV - Jack Frost

The groundhog here in the United States says there will be an early spring. And what better way to ring in the day if "Goundhog Day" isn't your thing than with "Jack Frost".

Produced by the Rankin/Bass industrial complex of stop motion holiday specials, "Jack Frost" from 1979 is the shining jewel in the crown of incel cinema. The poor sprite loses the girl to a Chad in shining armor after her not being able to see all the good things he does to win her over. I love a good cartoon as much as the next guy, but this special was a bit of a downer....lol!

Thankfully my new horological balm in the form of a Radia Trinity took the edge off and made me smile. In spite of poor Jack doomed to always being invisible to "Becky", maybe he should pick up a Radia and call it a winter day. According to the groundhog, we don't have many of those left.

Of all the things I not expect to see tonight, a 4Chan incel analysis of “Jack Frost” on a casual watch forum is…um…up there. That is a bit of a downer tho. I think I’m gonna wash my brain with some Doctor Who 😅. Thankfully the incels are wrong tho. Jack’s just gotta pick himself back up and find someone who’s interested in him

Love the watch tho lol. Being able to read Cyrillic, the backwards “R” is getting me a little bit, ngl. “Yadia”. Wouldn’t stop me from getting one tbh
