Yes folks, head first plunge enthusiastically taken and purchased a Citizen Promaster Diver in 34mm. With all the recent chatter about this model in 37mm, I made a 180 degree turn and went after this little jewel.
For perspective, I placed the 34mm alongside it's bigger and more conventional brother. The 34mm has the same specifications with a harder to read dial and date which is something to be expected. And while this tiny timepiece is considered a "ladies watch" in some circles, my Marathon General Purpose Mechanical (also in 34mm) would loudly disagree.

Is that 34mm next to a 42mm? I think I would prefer the 34mm as well looking at that, and I bet it costs a lot less too!

Yeah, that's the 42mm. Wanted to give some size perspective there. I tend to like larger watches or tool oriented ones really. But something about the smaller Promaster is novel in more ways than one. I paid $178 for the 34mm and $174 for the 42mm, both brand new. Yes, eBay is really a thing is some circles.
No matter the size, Citizen Promasters are great watches. Although I have the bigger version, I like the look of the smaller version.

Aww, it's so little 😁
I like that they maintain the rugged DNA
