Maratac SR 35 Titanium

As the world teeters on the brink of social and economic collapse, my first priority was to buy another watch. Avarice, lack of control and self discipline notwithstanding, enter the Maratac SR35 Titanium from Countycomm.

As the fifth watch of my Maratac trilogy of tickers, the SR35 dive-piece appears to be no longer for sale on Countycomm website. Watches come and go like trends there and who knows when or if ever this particular reference will rear it's head.

The watch came with a bracelet which I promptly swapped out for an RZE Hexaflex rubber strap which so far as been a joy to wear. Copy and pasted specs are as follows:

40mm Diameter Case, 14.4mm Thick.

Screw Down Crown is located at the 4 o’clock position for left and right hand wear.

Case: Titanium 6Al-4V (Grade 5), cut from a solid block. Weight: 65.5 Grams For Titanium (FYI: Stainless SR-35 weighs 86.4 grams)

Dial: Matte Black with Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 ( Triple Applied C3 ) Second Hand : ( International Orange Pantone : O21C ).

Bracelet: Weight with All 8 Removable Links = 63 grams. Titanium 6Al-4V (Grade 5). Comes with Maratac 20mm Nylon Band.

Seiko NH-35 Automatic / Self Winding (Hacking movement ) 24 Jewel movement ( 21,600 Vibrations Per Hour )

Water resistant: 10 ATM (Note: Don’t take any watch into a hot tub or steam room)

Crystal: Sapphire (Next to diamond in hardness) crystal domed crystal with AR (Anti-Reflective) coating.

Like most smaller watch companies, the Maratac/Countycomm industrial complex doesn't get the attention it deserves like other smaller watch companies. But if sales are any indication, their solid offerings will continue to sell for a very long time. So long as you can find one in stock.

I've been a fan of CountyComm since I found them, probably by accident. I usually"back into" things I like, lol! I sort of did that with watches, too. I've been keeping a patient eye on Maratac watches until prices and available funds might meet, maybe someday.

Yeah, funds are always the deciding factor.

I love Maratac watches even the G-Shock homages, I wore my DC-50 a couple days this week. I have their titanium field watch which I have to my wife because i just couldn’t get the 18mm lugs width other than it’s a sweet watch, I was pissed when I missed the DLC Pilot Watch 😂. The thing with them you never know when something coming out so you gotta check in every know and then. The SR-35 I hope they bring back the DLC pilot is coming back the end of the month hopefully my account will be ready 😂. I like county comm I’ve plenty of products from them never have an issue customer service is A1 and the Maratac line of watches imo are underrated. Nice lineup Fam 👊🏾

Concur all around. I was inspired to wear my DC-50 titanium after seeing you rocking yours. I don't believe I have five of the things but don't care lol! I have other Countycomm products as well and all of them are solid. I even gave a few as Christmas gifts recently. As always, appreciate you stopping by.

Love that flieger. I have that one, except in boring stainless steel. Sadly, it doesn't get much wrist time.
