Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
An innate fascination with time and ways of telling it, by watch or clock.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A nondescript diver given to me as a Christmas present when I was nine years old.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My Bulova Hack reminds me of my late father who was issued a Bulova while in the U.S. Navy toward the end of the Korean war.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you like and not what others think you should have.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Maratac, Laco, Hamilton and various microbrands.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
No grail watch at the moment. There are still several watches I would love to own.
