Inspiring watches
Greetings crunchers, I’ve been thinking about this for a few days already and to be honest it’s something that I’ve never actually thought about until recently. The truth is I find watches to be the most inspiring object of my daily life, for example, I am an engineering student, and even though I am surrounded almost daily by different plane bits what inspires me the most to actually put the effort and push through all the exams and assignments is my seagull 1963. As whenever I look at it I’m instantly reminded of heroic pilots rushing to intercept an enemy bomber, or the flight crew of an airliner on its way to an exotic destination. And this also repeats with the rest of my watches, so much so that whenever I’m thinking about purchasing a new peace, one of the most important questions I ask myself is, what does this watch evoque? And if I don’t find the answer to be good enough, I simply loose interest in the piece.
