Had an appreciation for fine mechanical objects as a young boy. My grandmother owned an antique store. Behind a glass case, I would admired a silver pocket watch, that had been used daily by a train conductor. On my 12th birthday my grandmother gifted me that conductor’s pocket watch.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I don’t remember the first, however, I do remember the first time I bought a new watch—TAG Heuer Formula 1 WA410 Professional 200M—Circa 1991
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you wear.
Wear what you love.
Love what you buy.
