I personally don’t think it’s too thick. I may be a bit biased because I own one 😅. But I find that it sits quite well on wrist and doesn’t feel as thick as the spec sheet suggests. I guess the only problem would be when you try to put it under a cuff. As for the “sparkly” bit, I think it adds character and makes it look more premium than it is. That, of course is personal opinion. But from an owners perspective, it’s actually really nice and is one of the reasons I bought the watch.
I personally don’t have an issue with it, I just know some people don’t like it, and considering it doesn’t cost that much to add and people are adding sapphire to watches that cost $70, you kinda feel like it’s a missing feature. 🤷♂

Yes I would, I have a few friends in different countries and I’m probably going to be doing a bit of travelling in the next few months. Never mind the cool factor 😁
