Recommendation for replacement G Shock

Good day Crunchers!

I've been utilising my trusty G7900 since 2012, and most recently as my running watch; I like how the larger buttons are easy to press, and that there is a dedicated button to activate the backlight as I tend to run in the evenings.

The G7900 is not the only G Shock I have; I also own a DW5600, but given its smaller buttons, it's not very ergonomically sound for the constant start-and-stop of the stopwatch function.

I've been gravitating toward solar G Shock models and would like to acquire a solar G Shock that has the following functions:

  • solar-powered movement

  • large, easy-to-press buttons as I have fat fingers.

  • dedicated backlight button (where possible)

  • positive LCD display

  • smaller case sizing where possible

The issue in my mind is that a number of the g shock models with the larger buttons happen to have pretty sizeable cases; and I have been finding it hard to find models with small cases but sizeable buttons.

If you have any recommendations, please let me know!

You could also look at the Protrek line. Some models have larger and easier to push buttons. I'd say they are on the same level as your current G Shock.
