Should IWC return to making time-only, conservatively sized pilot watches in their mark __ series?
Check out this beautiful Mark XI for sale on c24. Is it just me or does the date window on the modern mark series kill the design? I love the field watch Arabic numerals without a date. IWC does this design with such great sensibility, but the date window in the contemporary mark series, regardless of color, always makes me wish it wasn't there.

Date windows kill most designs, hate 'em.
The main thing stopping me buying IWC is the size and date. So I’m in.
Yes, I fully agree. Date windows ruin the symmetry of a pilot/flieger watch.
Sizes should range between 36-42mm.
Sterile dials should be an option.
