Omega Mfg warranty: Darker shade of Grey?

Ran into a listing for a new, but discontinued Omega Aqua Terra. But the guarantee description was convoluted / obscured. So, I dropped them a line and that's the response they (assuming the retailer) gave me.

So what y'all think? Sounds like one of those "you pay us first and we'll ship to you if we can find a AD that needs to get rid off"?  The listing itself listed delivery within 8 days of purchase.

Dude, if you’re looking for an Omega, let me introduce you to my dealer. He‘ll source the watch for you, at a great discount, with full 5-year manufacturer’s warranty, and overnight the watch to you via FedEx.

And, since you’re “out of state” you’ll get the out of state tax treatment - meaning that he‘ll rely on you to pay the appropriate sales tax on your own to your state and local tax authorities.

That seller seems sketch.  I would stick with an AD for a luxury watch purchase.  There are too many fakes out there these days.

Seems sketch man. If you’re paying a lot of cheese for a watch, stay away from the grey market. If it seems too good to be true, it prob IS. Use @Omeganut AD or any one of the other major online Omega-auth’d dealers.

Mate I'd just go to an AD. It's more expensive but you're paying for the peace of mind
